Client Requirement 

As part of the national, Living with and Beyond Cancer programme, Cumbria CVS with support of Macmillan Cancer support, has developed a service for people in North Cumbria affected by Cancer to access the support they need.  Cumbria CVS approached Acorn Marketing to help increase awareness of the programme on social media and train them to look after their own social media for the project going forward.

We started by creating a social media strategy for the programme, this identified which social media platforms to use, target customer, key messages, content ideas and hashtags to use.

We then created some graphics to be used for the project, along with setting up social media accounts.  We also created a content plan of what posts to be shared each month; giving the client more confidence to post on their own in the future.
