Country Puddings

Client Requirement 

Country Puddings was our very first marketing client back in 2011.  We started with a small contact to help write a marketing strategy for them, but they then asked us to help implement it for them and we worked together for over four years.

Initially, we helped Country Puddings develop a marketing strategy so they had a vision going forward and then we helped to implement this. We helped to develop marketing communications with their customers through e-newsletters, targeted marketing and database development.

We also developed awareness about Country Puddings and issued press releases with newsworthy stories about what they were up to. This resulted in generating press coverage in the Daily Mail and celebrity endorsement from Greg Wallace off MasterChef who said their rice pudding was his favourite. We also helped increase their online presence through social media platforms, website development and the implementation of an online food blog. They were shortlisted for the ‘Best use of social and digital media’ award at the CN Awards and have won and been shortlisted for several local and national awards while we worked with them.

We also helped develop a new brand identity for Country Puddings, which epitomised the ethos of the company – producing good quality handmade puddings in the heart of the Lake District – by the Farmer’s Wife. This was reflected in all promotional material and the development of a new website.
